Bobbi Carpino Photography
|
Bobbi Carpino has a passion for life and giving to others. Bobbi has always loved capturing the beauty in the people or landscapes around her. After having her daughter, Sofia, she witnessed how quickly her little gal was growing up. The images taken were beautiful reminders of how precious her family is. With the support of her family and several friends, Bobbi took the plunge and started her own Photography Company.
Bobbi's clients will tell you that she has an amazing ability to connect with those in front of her lens and to make them feel comfortable and have fun during their session. Bobbi aims to make each session a fabulous experience and the images captured will be a reminder of another special time in someone's life. Bobbi is a proud member of the Professional Photographers Association of British Columbia. |

Oxana Pavlenko Counselling/Coaching Services
|
When Oxana and her husband attended John and Julie Gottman’s workshop in Seattle, Gottman’s teaching based on 30 years of research on marriages became a tipping point for her to become a family counsellor. Oxana, a graduate of Moscow State University, went back to school in Canada, completing the Counselling Skills Program at VCC. Looking for best practices, Oxana participated in workshops with leading experts including Jack Kornfield (The Wise Heart) and Daniel Siegel (The Mindful Brain), Daniel Goleman (Emotional Intelligence), and Les Greenberg (Emotionally Focused Therapy). Since becoming the first Certified Gottman Educator in Vancouver, she advocates for Bringing Baby Home™ Relationship and Parenting Programs which benefit couples who are expecting a baby, or have young children. Oxana is a great believer in prevention. As a family counsellor and a relationship coach, she brings her loving and caring personality into her work with couples and individuals.

Carling Communication by Design
|
A Brief Bio
I am a graphic designer living and working in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My specialty is identity and branding design. My career began as a designer on corporate communications and identity system design for Kent Allen Design Group after graduating from the graphic design program at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, BC in 1984. Following this, I worked as a designer on contract with CBC Radio Vancouver in 1990. I started freelancing in 1992 and set up a home studio in order to take care of my young family. I also started a small home business, by developing and producing a popular children’s appliquéd fleece jacket, vest and blanket line. I am also a mom, an illustrator, a photographer and a part-time blogger. I also work on advanced typography projects, including book design. I understand what was like to run a business as a mompreneur and a stay home mom. To be part of the Enterprising Moms Network has its benefits. You are not alone on your quest as a mompreneur. |
