Do I have to be a mom to attend a meeting?
No. Although we are a Moms' Network, we are also about connecting and supporting women business owners. We are not exclusive to just Moms.
Can Men/Dads attend and join?
We are sorry, but no.
We do have men business speakers for EMN, so it may be beneficial for you to apply to be a speaker at one of our chapter meetings.
I would like to be a speaker at one of your chapter meetings. How do I become one?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it We will get back to you as soon as possible if we think you are a good fit for one of our meetings. Speakers are not paid, however we do encourage you promote your services/products after you speak. We also post your profile/business with your contact info on our website for visitors.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not looking for speakers who are trying to present “Job Opportunities” or pitch their business at our meetings. Our speakers are meant to provide education.
My business is a franchise and is not "technically" owned by me. Can I still join?
Yes. Absolutely. Whether or not it is your own business or one that is franchised, if you are the one who is in charge with its success, then that’s all that is required.
I don't have a business yet, but am in the process of trying to start it, should I join?
Absolutely! Our members are at every stage with their business, whether it is just starting out or have been in business for years. You will find talking with other moms in your community and learning from other business owners with more experience will be really beneficial for you - not to mention the great business speakers we have each month.
Are there different levels of Membership?
Yes. There is Online Membership, Standard Membership, Executive Membership and Premium Membership levels. To read more about the various levels and costs associated with them, please click here
Do you provide childcare?
EMN has a great childcare provider - “Almost As Good As Mum Nanny Agency”. They will provide you with babysitting while you are at the meeting or if you are looking for a full-time nanny. A 15% Discount applies if you are a member!
I live in an area that doesn’t have a chapter yet. Will you be expanding the Network?

I would like to attend as a guest. How do I register and pay?
First time guests are always free. This allows you to attend a meeting and see if it is a good fit for you. To register, just click on the chapter you would like to attend under the "Chapter" tab, and fill in a guest registration form.
How do I purchase a membership?
Just click on the “Join EMN” tab and you will be taken to Paypal online which accepts visa and mastercard. If you prefer to pay by cheque, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to make arrangements.
As a member, what happens if I can’t make it to a meeting?
Just send us an email and let us know you won’t be attending. The great thing about EMN is that we provide notes at the meeting, which will be posted online under your respective chapter within a few days. You will never be “out of the loop” if you miss a meeting.
My business partner wants to join. Is there a group discount?
Yes. We provide 10% off a membership when one full membership has been purchased.
Do you have a referral program in place?
Yes! Once you become a member, if you refer someone who purchases a membership with EMN, you will receive “loyalty credits” which translates in to money towards your own membership when it renews.
What is the format for meetings?
Each meeting has a speaker who presents on a business topic/mom issue for approximately 40 minutes with q & a at the end.
After our speaker; is our “Break Out” Sessions. During this part of the meeting, we help one another with business issues/problems we have been struggling with in smaller groups. The great thing is that even if a resolution isn’t found at the meeting, we have some fantastic resources who are eager to help you. No one ever leaves a meeting without the "wheels in motion".
Informal networking takes place at the end.
Is there a refund policy on an EMN membership?
Sorry - no. If you are moving to an area without a chapter, we will have your membership transferred to an online membership and refund you the difference. If there is a problem with your experience within the Network, we will do everything within our power to resolve it.
